Resume Workshop

You are all invited to attend our last resume workshop. For all you that are currently applying to summer internships or are looking for jobs, this is a great opportunity to have someone look over your resume or to begin a brand new one!

2012 Regional Student Symposium, sponsored by KPMG

Through workshops and panel discussions, students will learn how to effectively navigate the job search and  be empowered to succeed in acquiring an internship in a challenging economic landscape. The day will conclude with a Career Fair where students will have the opportunity to learn about various internship programs and network with prospective employers.
Benefits of the Program:
• Opportunity to network and find out about career and/or internship opportunities
• Professional workshops designed to prepare students for successful internship applications
• Strengthen communication and interviewing skills
• Networking with recruiters

Who Can Attend?
• Freshmen-Juniors at a 4-year university/college OR at a community college with intent to transfer to a 4-year university/college OR 1st year Graduate Students
• Attaining a degree in business, accounting, finance, and related career professions
• GPA minimum of 3.2

Event Highlights:
• Two rotations of Student Workshops that will focus on:
- Internship preparedness
- Academic preparedness/knowledge
- Career development

• Luncheon with Keynote Speaker
• Career Fair
